Join us on Saturday, April 20 from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. for a day of food, music, and art at the fifth Foodstock Festival in downtown Somerset, KY! Foodstock features food trucks from across the state, spirit, and beverage vendors, live art creation, and lots of fun music and activities for families.
Admission is FREE to Foodstock, however, if you want to purchase alcoholic beverages you must buy a $5 spirit wristband at one of our entrance gates. Many downtown businesses will be open during the festival, and we encourage festival-goers to visit them! Please utilize downtown sidewalks to access these businesses.
We will also host our popular Busker Music Contest within the festival area at The Tipsy Toad on Fountain Square: Voting will take place from 11 a.m. — 9 p.m. Saturday, April 20. You must have a cell phone to vote. Scan the QR code displayed at each location (in multiple places throughout each establishment) to vote for your favorite musician. Voting totals will be verified on April 22 and the winner announced at 5 p.m. on See Somerset’s Facebook and Instagram. Buskers will compete to earn a spot on the Moonlight Festival Stage on Oct. 19, 2024 in downtown Somerset.
Live art demonstrations will happen at tents around Fountain Square throughout the day, featuring these artists, who are following the theme: Fountain Square.
Featured Busker Musician Lineup (Don’t forget to vote for your favorite!):
1–2PM Mela B
Folk/rock musician from Frankfort, KY. Originally from California. This surfer chick has a unique style of music across a mix of genres.
3–4PM Kevin Thomas Jones
Singer/songwriter from Monticello, KY. He has been performing music for approximately 15 years and says he can play just about any instrument with a string. He is ready to showcase his country “twang” and his musical influences draw from country and blues artists young and old.
5–6PM Annie Boek
Alternative/indie musician from Russell Springs, KY. She’s been performing ever since she picked up her daughter’s ukulele in 2018. She’s been covering songs and writing a bit of her own as she gigs at local venues on the weekends. Her musical influences range from Paramore to Adele and Cage the Elephant.
7–8PM Brando Vanschoyck
Award-winning singer/songwriter and multi-instrumentalist is originally from Hindman, KY, and now resides in Somerset, KY. His raw, thought-provoking lyrics harmonize with his distinctive fusion of genres and instruments, creating a captivating musical experience.

Jake Wilson
A Somerset, KY, artist that spearheads Doomsayer Designs. He fancies himself a comic book artist, but loves to create art in any form. He loves traditional art such as watercolor and acrylic painting, pencil drawing, and illustration.
Jeff Scribner
Long-time resident of Kentucky, Jeff is a painter and graphic designer. He designs, creates, and markets his work under his J. Robert Trademark brand. Jeff is a hydrocephalic and traumatic brain injury survivor and has a Certificate Diploma of Graphic Design from the former Art Institute of

Anita Vaught Stigall
Born and raised in Pulaski Co., KY, Anita is a mixed media artist. She primarily works with acrylic, oils, wood, clay and other elements from nature. She also enjoys revamping great furniture finds.
