General Burnside Island State Park Golf Course features a number of holes that overlook the lake. Guests at Woodson Bend Resort simply step from their condos onto an 18-hole Trevino-Bennett course. Eagle’s Nest Country Club, an 18-hole, par-71 golf course, is one of the most challenging and scenic courses in the region. Somerset Country Club offers another challenging 18-hole golf course and is the oldest course in the county.

Wow, what a wonderful place to play golf, nice course, fun and challenging, and very well maintained. Folks at the club are warm and friendly to all. Highly recommend this course to all level of players.

We were staying in Somerset and the course looked great. Very manicured and was kept up very nicely. Lots of sand traps and ruff areas and par 5s. Not an easy course. Beautiful and enjoyable to play and affordable.

A great day. Excellent, my first time playing here. I can’t wait to go again, absolutely beautiful, beautiful abundant wildlife, such a pleasure to see the deer up close, had a wonderful time.
