Somerset Country Club

Som­er­set Coun­try Club is a semi-pri­vate golf club, locat­ed at 1216 North Main Street (Hwy 1247) in the city of Som­er­set, Ken­tucky. The course was built in 1923 but was expand­ed to 18 holes in 1993. Many of the orig­i­nal holes are still played.

The course is laid out in beau­ti­ful coun­try­side with a com­bi­na­tion of rolling hills, wood­ed vis­tas, scenic ponds, and streams. The course boasts Blue­mu­da grass fair­ways and bent grass greens. The par 70 course has many up and down­hill shots and is known as a shot maker’s course. 5727 yards long from the blue tees, Som­er­set Coun­try Club’s course is con­sid­ered fun and chal­leng­ing to novice and sea­soned golfers.
