The City of Somerset is the proud title sponsor of the 30th annual Master Musicians Festival (MMF), July 14-15! Enjoy performances at Somerset Community College’s Festival Field from Wynonna Judd, Ian Noe, Nappy Roots, Nicholas Jamerson, Abby Hamilton, Brit Taylor, Brother Smith and more!
The Festival begins on Thursday, July 13 at The Center for Rural Development (time TBA) for a classical music night with the Louisville Orchestra. Tickets to Thursday’s event will be free of charge and will be available on MMF’s website through a separate ticket on a first-come, first-served basis. A weekend pass to MMF does not include admission to the orchestra performance.
MMF brings multicultural, multi-generational, and multi-racial music to Southeastern Kentucky and is a family-friendly festival that encourages people to experience music, art, and food in a familiar, but exciting way. Past headliners have included Willie Nelson, Dwight Yoakam, Counting Crows, John Prine, and Blues Traveler, among others.
