The Center for Rural Development

Estab­lished in 1996 through the vision of U.S. Con­gress­man Harold “Hal” Rogers (KY-05), The Cen­ter for Rur­al Devel­op­ment boasts a state-of-the-art meet­ing and con­ven­tion facil­i­ty in addi­tion to the pro­grams and ser­vices it pro­vides in four focus areas: pub­lic safe­ty, arts and cul­ture, lead­er­ship and tech­nol­o­gy. The Cen­ter has been host to the Stand Up Rur­al Amer­i­ca con­fer­ence, the Ken­tucky Asso­ci­a­tion of Chiefs of Police annu­al con­fer­ence, the Ken­tucky Asso­ci­a­tion of Eco­nom­ic Devel­op­ment Col­lab­o­ra­tion Con­fer­ence and the Ken­tucky Trav­el Indus­try Asso­ci­a­tion spring con­fer­ence, among oth­ers.
