Somerset Country Club is a semi-private golf club, located at 1216 North Main Street (Hwy 1247) in the city of Somerset, Kentucky. The course was built in 1923 but was expanded to 18 holes in 1993. Many of the original holes are still played.
The course is laid out in beautiful countryside with a combination of rolling hills, wooded vistas, scenic ponds, and streams. The course boasts Bluemuda grass fairways and bent grass greens. The par 70 course has many up and downhill shots and is known as a shot maker’s course. 5727 yards long from the blue tees, Somerset Country Club’s course is considered fun and challenging to novice and seasoned golfers.
