View the South­east­ern Ken­tucky African-Amer­i­can Muse­um and Cul­tur­al Cen­ter and the Sto­ries Behind the Quilt exhi­bi­tion on Thurs­day, May 22 and Fri­day, May 23 at the Pulas­ki Coun­ty Pub­lic Library in down­town Som­er­set.

This exhi­bi­tion will open on May 22 at 12 p.m. ET fol­lowed by the open­ing recep­tion at 4 p.m. ET with an in-depth peek into the Sto­ries Behind the Quilt that high­lights the fol­low­ing quilts: Col­ors of Africa, Reflec­tions of Appalachia, My Home­town, The Har­ri­et Tub­man Under­ground Rail­road, and The Res­ur­rec­tion. The exhi­bi­tion will be on dis­play on May 23 dur­ing the library’s reg­u­lar oper­at­ing hours.
