Hand-building Basics Through Beautiful Projects

Take part in clay hand-build­ing work­shops in May at The Shine House in down­town Som­er­set. Work­shops will take place on Fri­day, May 10, 24 and 31 begin­ning at 6 p.m.

You will learn the basics of hand-build­ing ves­sels in clay and will explore three project-based tech­niques. The pieces will have to dry, be fired, and be glazed. and picked up two weeks after built. We will explore Kur­inu­ki yuno­mi pieces on the 10th, root cups on the 24th, and olive boats on the 31st. You can par­tic­i­pate in all or choose as many as you wish to build. Each class is $45.
